Using 14.12b, on Male Apprentice path...

I started the ritual, worked through it as I should, and when the cellar goes to explode, I click on the pop up window describing the explosion, but it doesn't advance me farther. It only closes the pop up, so I only have the option to run again, which does the same thing. I went to save the file, and it didn't appear in the save list. Clicking return from that page did nothing. I clicked home, and loaded the save file that didn't show up in the list, but did apparently save, and I get the same thing... clicking return to get off the save/load page doesn't do anything. Attached the save file, so hopefully you can duplicate or fix whatever happened.

Please re-download and reapply the 14.12b update, as I noted above there were fixes applied and the links replaced. This is one of the issues that was fixed

I did this and nothing changed for that save. Does this mean I'm going to have to back up to a save from earlier?

And it's weird because I downloaded and added the updated 14.12b patch, maybe an hour before I ran into the problem and posted, so well after you'd updated the patch.

I just loaded your save with the game running 14.12b and no problems, it opens with you in the hospital

I checked and we are using the same compiled file from my version and the 14.12b update. Cases in the past with people having issues like this were mostly they extracted the archive wrong. Check if you now have a new folder in your game 'Update 14.12b', you should not

Please reapply again, make sure to download from my post

It wasn't a misapplication of the patch. I overwrote files in 4 different folder. I tried Both the Mega and the anonfile links in the OP. So something is diffferent in the one you linked here, because that fixed it. Sorry I didn't notice this earlier because I would have tried it.

BTW, when I left the room after talking to Sir Ronald about the ritual (after meeting Sarah for the first time), Lauren never stopped me and took me upstairs. That's not going to block progress with her or Sarah, is it?

There is a delay between my posting a fix and the report then being actioned. You may of downloaded before the fix was updated in the first post but after I posted the fix. I do not update the first post.

Lauren stops you every few visits, it is not linked to specific other events except the initial 'bath' scene

It will not block but please remember Lauren is meant to be difficult to charm if that is what you are trying to do, there are limited opportunities and you need to get offered the spare room, generally by being stuck at night fall

These are unrelated otherwise to Sarah's events

The last version or 2, I never seemed to have Lauren appear after that initial meeting when I first entered the Estate. But asking Sir Ronald about locking his doors at night seems to have opened everything up. I had been holding off because I didn't want to accidentally start the Vampire portion.

It is possible but it is large amount of work, given it is based on an old version of the game 14.8.4 and there are a large number of model changes

A work in progress version has been posted at the Hypnopics Collective but it implement a small amount of the changes

Feel like i'm pretty stuck...

I have mother superiors rosary but can't take possession of her, the walkthrough said to go to the sacred circle but i can't get there due to the cop at ronalds
The walkthrough said the cops at the police station would help me with the cop at ronalds but nothings triggered
The cop is amys friend but i didn't use the silver ring on her when i got my book back and can't seem to bump into her anywhere. I thought maybe learning hypnotism from mr beasly might bring amy back to the game, but i'm stuck on the mom party her and amy are always together and i can 't figure out what to do. They have just gone holiday together. I brought the hypnotism book from the trader and read it and got an initial lesson from beasely.

Where is camryn?

I have defeated Kolgorn and have him in a crystal. Can i free the witch?

I'm stuck with Kellie, I told her about the new test and need to catch her cheating, but shes only at the bridge. I thought the hint earlier in the game said i had to catch her at school at night but I can't get anything to trigger at the school/

At the police station if you have Officer Batton charmed there will be an option to ask her to remove Adele

Amy will only return much later, you must resolve
- freeing her and Catherine from Mr Beasley, Visit again, you should see a similar scene. Or charm Mr Beasley
- Camryn's store will start on a sunday after a certian time in the game, but you need to know the Possession spell and have resolved some other events
- You can free Jessica, talk to Hannah

Yeah I found similar problems, I had to resort at times to
- using similar looking models and where their faces are less distinct (looking away or angled etc)
- using some fakes/headswap edited

Passage of time does not matter it is other events,

I thought the image top left of the PC station was Becky who i had charmed... That bits sorted now

No extra scenes are triggering with mr beardsely, I've charmed in and learned hypnosis from the book brought from anna bell peaks store. Should the scene just happen whenever i visit or is it time sensitive?

Hannah has disappeared, the text at her shop in the day time tells me to speak to Monique. Monique said something ages ago but i can't remember what she said. If I go back at night only Monique is there.

For Hannah go to the apartment on Celete Rd, off Oakpine Rd, via Museum as well
